Stupid Moment

July 9, 2008 / by cjone2000

Yesterday was somewhat of a productive day. Had my two job interviews, got a little laundry done and a little cleaning. But my stupid moment was toward the end of the afternoon, about an hour before my man came home.  He got me an awesome camera for my birthday and I took it to Juneau with me. Well, I was an ijit and I thought a movie I recorded  of 4th of July fireworks with the camera had erased all of my pictures and I only had enough memory for 25 pictures!

I spent an hour yesterday doing everything I could to figure out what happened to my camera.  By the time my guy got home, I was almost in tears.  And guess what? The memory card had slipped out a bit and that's why I could see my other photos there! My guy fixed my camera in two minutes! I felt so stupid! I remembered that I accidentally dropped the camera at my aunt's house and that's probably what caused the card to pop out just a bit so that the camera wasn't reading it. I'm such a "blonde"....

Anyway, I will work on getting the photos posted on here shortly from my Juneau trip.  Going out today with my little sister Rachel from BBBS. Gotta get out the door before I'm late...

don't be so hard on yourself! A lot of the newer cameras are a lot more complicated than they used to be!! more buttons to push and things to turn...

    sometimes the "user manual" helps!

A large proportion of problems are fixed by checking that  there is nothing loose or switched off.
